In the poem the poet shares his experience of a train journey. He describes the amazing speed of the train. He presents the natural scenes as seen from the window of a railway carriage
Resource Material:
PowerPoint was used to transact the lesson. The video and explanation were effectively used to know the amazing speed and the natural scenes as seen from the window of a train. The video helped to understand the moving rhythm of a train. The meanings of difficult words were made clear using pictures.

  The teacher invites the attention of the students and shows them an interesting video of a moving train. The teacher then asks the following questions.

St:Yes we noticed

You have to study a poem’ FROM A RAILWAY CARRIAGE’ written by ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON.
